The Picture of (Almost) Health

Health screening today.

BMI? 21. Drop a mere 5 pounds and I'm 20. Low in the normal range.

Cholesterol? Below 200. LDLs? 71 - well in the "optimal range".

BP? Don't ask. According to my husband, my head could explode.

Could have been white coat hypertension. Could have been the 5 conference calls immediately before the screening. Could have been anything.

But right now, I'm holding a "high risk" referral paper and I'm supposed to go see a doctor. Not that doctor. One who can monitor my blood pressure. I feel a prescription is inevitable.

Any suggestions for lowering blood pressure naturally?

Respectfully submitted,

The Wife

Leeches?

I've been on BP med for 4 years. Early on had fatigue really kick me about mid-day. Lot less of that now. Got better too when changed doctors which changed med.

I'm with Betty on the yoga thing. It's been something that I've been meaning to get back into.

Yoga will help you feel more in tune with your body . . . and who doesn't want to feel more in tune with your body :-)

SEX! Heh. At least that is what I read albeit on the porn sites I visit. All those massages are not helping with the stress? Perhaps you need more of them?
